Upwardly mobile:The rise of mobile working in healthcare

Apr 2018

“Upwardly mobile: the rise of mobile working in healthcare – exploring the benefits, the barriers and the opportunities” is a significant piece of research on technology-enabled mobile working in healthcare. Produced by Digital Health Intelligence in association with Samsung, the white paper draws on in-depth interviews with CIOs and CCIOs as well as a survey of a cross-section of health IT leaders. The report examines how mobile working is already making a difference in healthcare, what is stopping further progress, and how those obstacles might be overcome.

Topics such as security, device management, culture change and perception of mobile working in healthcare are considered, whilst offering actionable insight on how to overcome these complex challenges and introduce more mobile ways of working in the NHS.
